Human cloning is the process of creating a genetically identical copy of a human. This can involve somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT), where the nucleus of a somatic cell is transferred to an egg cell whose nucleus has been removed. The resulting embryo can then grow into a genetic duplicate of the original individual.
